The path used to store the timeshift buffer. The default is the `addon_data/pvr.vuplus` folder in userdata. Note that if another directory is specified and it does not exist the default will be used instead.

If provided this value will be used as the channel provider name if one was not retrieved from the backend. It can be used in combination with the provider mapping file.
